Looking for a Laboratory for Compliance Reporting?

You can generate a facility list of laboratories currently certified by IDNR under one or more of Iowa's environmental laboratory certification programs. This list is intended to be used only as a guide to help locate certified labs and does not contain specific information about the scope of a laboratory's certification. This list will only include those laboratories which perform analyses for others (contract laboratories) unless specified that all laboratories should be included.

  1. Select the fields for your report.

  2. Specify the Analyte or Method or a comma delimited list of Analytes or Methods for your report. Case and spelling must match exactly (i.e., 'lead' will not match with 'Lead'). See the hints below for search assistance.

  3. Limit your selection by specifying Field-Office, Certificiation(s), Contract Status or State.(optional)

  4. Click on "Run Report" to generate the report or "Reset Form" and go back to step 1.

In order to print this report, you will need to change the setting on your printer from portrait to landscape orientation.

Search hints:

  • Use * to specify 0 or more characters. For example, S* in the Analyte field will locate any lab certified for any analyte starting with the letter 'S'.
  • Use | to add optional criteria to the search. For example, S*|T* in the Analyte field will locate any lab certified for any analyte starting with either 'S' or 'T'.
  • Use <> to find records that do not contain a specific name. For example, <>L* will exclude any lab certified for any analyte that starts with 'L'.
  • Create a list of Analytes using commas such as 'Copper,Lead' or 'Co*,L*'.
